So much to say about this ending. First off, even though I dislike Ginka’s revival, I understand why it had to happen. If she hadn’t come back, what was stopping Cerebrum from just using each girl’s anti-card to kill them? Because of her return, he realized that doing so wouldn’t have an effect on them (even if this is never explicitly said). That being said, I will qualify this by saying that the execution for Ginka’s revival was pretty hilarious. She heard Akari’s voice, beat her anti-card, and that suddenly means she can come back to life (as opposed to the two of them being phased out of existence).
Then there’s the issue of Cerebrum that I have to point out because it was never explicitly stated. Judging by the comment that he possesses the Sun anti-card and the vision he has of Hinata before dying, it’s pretty obvious that he’s Akari’s father. But enough of that. As a side note, you have to wonder why the anti-card wasn’t having a normal anti-card effect on Akari…but maybe there wasn’t time to explain that. Other than that, the battle was hilariously cheesy as you might expect…Cerebrum has some standard bad guy lines and the power of friendship wins out in the end.
